Collaboration
Collaboration has been made ever more complex with distributed workforces, sometimes in different timezones, more and more technology options and varied ways of working. Blue Moon offer clarity and direction through this complex environment so your organisation can find ways to collaborate effectively.

Online / Distributed

After working across continents (12 hour time differences) we've tested a host of different approaches including dozens of online tools and we have learnt some great fundamentals for working in a distributed environment.

As with any change, it starts with an outcome focus and the 'lowest cost of entry' to collaboration, whether that's picking up the phone, an email, video calling or even using chat and co-authoring tools. Collaboration is about about ensuring all parties are comfortable with communicating from day one.
We explore ways to maximise what is already available, upskilling in how the tools can used in innovative ways and discovering potential add-ons that will improve the transparency and trust around communication.

This is an opportunity for the early adopters to hone and discover new options whilst developing the core user base into highly collaborative and engaged teams.

In Person

In person sessions have become as much about connection as they have about the productivity they offer. We work with our clients to take the 'admin' tasks out of setting up, delivering and following up on In person sessions.
Our main aim is to establish ways to build trust and working relationships quickly and effectively in the potentially short time frames people and teams have together. We introduce approaches that allow for people and outcome focused teams to increase their productivity, innovation and strength of connection.

Hybrid

The most complex model of working and one we're all finding our way forwards with it. How can we handle some of the team being in person and others being online or continuously changing between online and in person?

Where possible we recommend focusing any in person opportunities on building connections and trust so that when we're online there's a base understanding to how we communicate and approach activities. We help focus those in person sessions and translate the online communication so that it's easier to work together.

For teams that have individuals unable to meet in person we often observe those that are co-located building relationships faster. We help to increase inclusivity in these environment in for a shared sense of belonging. We explore the use of your co-authoring and meeting tools as well as ways to bring the distributed work force into the office environment remotely all at the same time as encouraging the office based people into the online world.
